American Express has a consultative approach to ensure we understand the state of your business, how your business is changing, and your objectives with an expense management programme.

Step 1

Before solutions are discussed, American Express analyses your business to understand and assess the best expense management solution for you.

This step looks at key areas of expense management: T&E policy, expense processes, payment methods, travel arrangements, and supplier management.

Step 2

Once the analysis is complete, our consultants develop recommendations based on results, experience, and industry benchmarks.

Solutions will specify American Express products and the savings that can be yielded by implementing the recommended expense management programme.

Step 3

On acceptance of recommendations, an implementation plan is developed in partnership with your business, detailing resources required from both organizations. Success of implementation is measured.
